NOTES
1. Eleven Erratics lined up against a Times team of only 7 players (supplemented after tea by passing spectator James Rivington).
2. In the Erratics’ (rain-affected) innings, Brian Berrigan and Tremayne Rennell shared a first wicket stand of 123.
3. The Times started strongly, putting on 46 for the first wicket, until Sulley took an improbable overhead catch running back at mid-on, for which he receives an oscar nomination. The other opener was removed by a good catch at long-on by Mike Long. Bill Bush then tore the heart out of the middle order with a fine spell which included a double-wicket maiden. The Erratics were frustrated by a sixth wicket partnership of 83 between Rivington and one of the Evans brood. With two overs left, Brian Berrigan came on to bowl and promptly dismissed both members of the offending partnership (another good lofted catch by Bush).
