NOTES
1. John Truscott and Matthew Neal put on a brisk 32 for the first wicket (including a six by Matthew Neal into the playground), suggesting that a big score for the Erratics was on the cards. However, the rest of the innings failed to gather momentum, apart from another partnership of 32 for the sixth wicket between James Rivington and Bill Bush.
2. The Erratics’ young quick bowlers proved to be unplayable. In his second spell, which finished off the Great Milton resistance, Felix Meller achieved figures of 3.2–1–2–3.
